Why Restoring Royalty?

Why Restoring Royalty?

A few years ago, I was in Pine Bluff Arkansas serving with my church and I met this young girl who was completely broken in life. She didn’t know her father, her mom was always away working and she was responsible for taking care of her household at 16. She had two younger brothers to keep up with and on top of that she was struggling in school and constantly getting picked on by her peers. You could tell just by looking at her that she was burnt out and in need of something different.

Her lack of hope was so evident I could not just sit back and watch her continue to struggle. That day God used her to open my eyes not only to her but to the many girls in my city who were settling, hurting, lost, hopeless and confused. There was a problem, not just in my city but in the world. So, with God’s guidance he is teaching me to reach girls through events and workshops. We will soon offer life coaching too!

If God’s word is true, and it is… then that means we are all Royalty, children of God, heirs to the throne of Christ. Yet in this world so many people are walking around with their heads down living a life less than what God intended simply because we don’t know who we are in him. So with Restoring Royalty, that is exactly what we are doing. It is a verb, not a noun. When you think of Royal people they have confidence, they are knowledgeable, they have authority, etc.Our mission is to empower young women to pursue the abundant life God called them to as children of the King. We are reminding people that they are royalty and challenging them to live like it.

What are some things that come to mind when you think of royalty?
